Hi. Just wanted to add some of my experience with these fault codes. @ 2750rpm. Had a fault P0236 kept coming up. > over boosting. 1. P0236 Checked for fault > no vacuum at VNT actuator or solenoid/ fault fix was vacuum pipes had melted > replaced pipes. Then another fault code reared its ugly head after the P0236 fix > P0235.
Can someone helpmy 1.6 jtdm giulietta is displaying Check engine and VDC lights on at the same time with message: check engine + start stop unavailble. It started last week, run to the local mechanic that did a diagnostic and concluded the car needed a regen. Left the car with the mechanic (charged £80) and lights went off.

Jimmy98996. I have a 2011 Alfa Giulietta 1.6 JTDM which currently has a fault light coming on and off. The fault given is P1541 Variable Displacement Oil Pump which is causing a Check Engine warning light to come on, occasionally the car jumps into limp mode (max 2k revs) but that clears when you turn it off and back on again.
